Six institutions contribute to R-QUEST: NIFU is the host, UiO/ Department of Political Science is the national university taking care of researcher training, and four university departments in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and UK provide high research competence in the field of science and policy studies and bibliometrics, and research quality in particular.

The Department of Political Science consists of five fields of research within political science: Political theory, international politics, public policy and administration, comparative politics and research methods. The department is concerned with teaching as well as with research and publication within political science.

CFA
The Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy, the Department of Political Science, Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University.


CFA focuses on research policy, innovation policy and university policy, and contributes to both the theoretical and empirical developments within the field. The Centre is characterized by its interdisciplinary profile, which combines both various research disciplines in the social sciences and humanities and a wide variety of research methods.

OSIRIS
Sister centre


R-QUEST has a sister centre called OSIRIS hosted by TIK, UiO. This centre is dedicated to studies of the impact of science. The relationship between quality and impact is an important question at the intersection of the two centres, and we have regular meetings to coordinate activities and plan future events such as policy meetings and scientific conferences.
